Founder & Director, Casa Noteboom Family Childcare
M.A. in Child Development | Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care
Hello, and welcome.
I am Diana Noteboom, a bilingual early childhood educator with over 15 years of professional experience in Colombia and the United States. I hold a Master’s degree in Child Development from Tufts University and am licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
My work in education began in Cartagena, Colombia, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in clinical and health psychology. As a bilingual Montessori teacher, I witnessed firsthand how thoughtfully prepared environments and respectful guidance can transform a child’s confidence, independence, and love of learning.
In 2009, I moved to Boston to further my studies at Tufts University, where I deepened my understanding of child development while teaching Spanish and supporting children’s learning at the Tufts Educational Day Care Center. My graduate work at Tufts strengthened my conviction that early childhood programs should be so much more than just preparation for school. At Casa Noteboom, we focus on providing a strong foundation for how children see themselves, how they navigate challenges, and how they engage with the world around them.
Later, as Director and Regional Director at Pine Village Preschool, I collaborated closely with families and educators to build culturally responsive, emotionally supportive learning communities. These leadership roles refined my ability to align curriculum, social-emotional development, and bilingual education within a cohesive and intentional framework.
Casa Noteboom is the thoughtful integration of my professional journey and my personal experience as a mother. I understand the depth of trust involved in choosing a learning environment for your child. That responsibility is one I carry with care, clarity, and commitment.
At Casa Noteboom, bilingualism is meaningful and lived daily. Emotional intelligence is intentionally nurtured. Independence is encouraged. Curiosity is protected. Children are guided with respect and high expectations, within a community that values collaboration and connection.
I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood, challenged, and supported. My role is not only to care for children, but to thoughtfully guide their development with intention, experience, and heart.
I look forward to partnering with families who value growth, communication, and shared responsibility in a child’s learning journey.
